Some time ago, this lodge saw the need in Bushman families who had the need to earn an income to provide food for their families. They brought these families to their lodge to settle down in their own Village, plant their own grain, the gather their own bush food, live in homes with a bathroom and modern toilet, kitchen and open fire for food preparation as they preferred. They earn an income through craft they make and some farm work. They have build an original Bushman Village as their ant sisters have lived, to demonstrate all the activities Bushman people do. A few attractions are bush food collection, food preparation, hunting, snaring, tracking skills, dancing, games, craft making, and general talks with guests. They speak Afrikaans and Bushman and they can “repeat” most of all the guest names. During your visit the lodge will translate the activities at the Village to their guests in English.
